Please help people with trifecta
Quick bump on this one, I just got trifecta tuned on my lnf. I have flashed the tune 3 times now with the box for p0420 unchecked, but it just keeps throwing the code. Is there something else I need to uncheck as well or some other kind of flash I need to do?
No that is what you do exactly. I have done it on 2 cars in the last month. When you uncheck it you have to stay in the page not close ez flash and then go to the program vehicle right after you uncheck the p0420. If you are doing that po420 should not come back. I also always do a code scan and clear the po420 first also I don't think that matters though as when flashed it will be gone anyway.

Bringing this up again...my car was apart for a few days so I didn't get a chance to run it. These are the exact steps im taking, what am I missing?
1. Open ezflash, connect interface cable, turn ignition to "on".
2. Under the program tab I go under "adjust tune settings" and click on "OBD2 DTCs and Readiness Monitors"
3. I then scroll down unselect "p0420 - catalyst system low efficiency". Then click "Ok".
4. One time I took the extra precaution of repeating steps 2-3 to make sure it hadn't reverted.
5. Under the program tab click "Program Vehicle" then select tune file and flash to vehicle.
I've done this twice now to change up the launch control setting, both times the launch control was changed just as it should have been, but after 3-4 ignition cycles the p0420 code pops back up. What gives?

Vince should stop being a nub and just do what the customer asks. It's really not his problem if something goes wrong if he warns the customer.
I respect his tuning but come on, give us some options

Don't like it get hp tuners or stfu.
There's options for our cars use them or go cry on a honda forum kthnxbye.
OP, only thing I can recommend since you took the right steps is to clear all your codes through ezflash, turn car off, disconnect battery/reconnect then reflash with o2 code deleted. Other wise *shrug*
