popping noises (backfire x1000) lol

i haven't posted here in a while, and i tried to search for the problem...

the other night my car make a popping or clicking noise when i shifted into 2nd at higher RPMs... maybe an NLS gone bad? lol... it just started popping. so i get off the gas and rolled a little and pushed the gas petal to the floor again and it didn't do it. my CEL came on for like a minute and shut back off... the fek was it? idt my charge piping came loose, well it shouldn't have, i took it in for a recal on that like 8 months ago

My microwave does this when I put popcorn kernels in it.

Did you place kernels anywhere near your engine recently? That would explain it.

You need these:

http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...&products_id=5

you won't have anymore misfires. guaranteed!

really helps fuel economy too. I've seen people getting 76mpg with these plugs in.

There's a chance you confused the RPM leading to the severe misfire. People have reported doing a "normal" shift on here and the car was in some semi-NLS mode but starting misfiring like a mother. It turns out they shifted normally (foot up, clutch in) but due to the timing with their feet (and the RPMs) the NLS logic was engaged but there was no throttle input. That's just a hypothesis and I'm sure as hell not oing out to try this but you're not the only one.

I second it. I bought those plugs from that site and it stopped my backfiring. Get em before they're out of stock again. I had to wait two weeks before they got them in again.
