ok im getting a intake manifold tom, to port and poslish. i tried using the search button but of course nothing. has anyone done it and if so was there any improvement of any kind. also is the stock restrictive, i have not looked inside of one yet.

 

Ive had mine off when i modified my stock one to look cleaner on the out side. aside from polishing maybe. theres its very little porting to be done. its basically a cavern with 4 short runners off of it. there are some spots that can be cleaned up like the seams. but thats about it

 

You could port match it and clean up the runners a little bit, but you're probably not going to notice much of a difference. Probably not really worth the effort and time required.

Well it isn't going to hurt anything if you do it.

 

Did one, there's very little to improve on. Just smooth out what you can reach, radius the edge of the TB mount tube (you'll know when you see it), and gasket match the intake ports. I'd port/polish the TB though, it's quite small and funny shaped.

 

ok probably will do the tb to. thanks for the input also prob will polish the manifold while im doing it.

 

port match. and as for peak power it will be at a min but across the band will increase u will notice more mid range do to velocity
