The ONLY reason I was hauling ass in it, was to see if it would blow the piping off again, otherwise, I normally just drive normal in town.

I checked all the hotside because thats what keeps blowing off, and no I didnt remove my bumper and lights and do a full inspection of the intercooler and cold side pipe.
I know the clutch is bad and will rob it of power, but it still feels as slow as stock right now to me

All i know is im pissed that this has happened to my car...i am really regretting getting a tune before getting a clutch and intercooler and better charge-pipe than i got...oh well

You might wanna check your BPV to make sure there isn't a hole in the diaphragm. If it's not opening correctly, it would blow your piping off. Of course, you would see a boost spike, but the gauge is slow.

Get some hair spray and put it on the pipe and coupler and that should hold better.

Okay, so today it really started bogging out in 2nd gear when i was wot, shifting into 3rd...wtf is the problem here? ITS DOING IT WHEN I LET OFF THE GAS TO SHIFT.
IT'S LIKE A GURGLING SOUND, AND IT'S JITTERY FOR A SECOND OR 2, THEN BOOST KICKS BACK IN...
BPV???

So, i go take a look at the bpv, and slap a 10mm on it, and it's loose...so, i tighten it, and take it for a ride, and the same ish.....bogging in acceleration and gurgling/jittering when decelerating
could it be, that my clutch is so bad that it is not pulling proper boost/power?

Have you gotten under the car and inspected your intercooler end tanks? Take some video for us. If your clutch was super bad, you would have to rev a lot over and over again just make your car move. That's not what your symptoms sound like to me.

Just tell your tuner you want to be conservative. No reason to be afraid of blowing the clutch.

If he has a boost leak, his car could just be having a very quick torque spike due to the lag created by having a boost leak. That caused my clutch to gradually become glazed.

Ive examined the end tanks and they seem fine. Like i said, the bpv was loose, but after tightening it, i had the same symptoms..no cels still, but something is bad wrong with the car.
I only have the issues with acceleration and deceleration.
If i drive slow, the car seemes to be fine. The idling is still random too...it will be perfect, then it be off a bit, then idle fine again...
As far as the clutch, it was slipping in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th above 4k rpm, so yeah it all of a sudden just took a **** on me in the past week.

above 4,000? Is it slipping over 4k only because that's where you're stomping on the throttle, or is that the rpm where the "slip" seems to be happening even i you get on it at a lower rpm?

Reason I ask is because most clutch slip will tend to happen with a high load at a lower rpm. A shot clutch will slip at any point really, but low rpm and high load is the killer. If the car is already moving the load is reduced significantly, resulting in less slip. It's of course still possible for the clutch to slip at a higher rpm, but it's not nearly as likely.

If your clutch is THAT bad to have slip in even 2nd gear, then it's pretty likely that you would have a very high clutch peddle grab and even have issues just getting going at all from a stop.

Only thing I can say is buy a boost leak tester for 20 something bucks from modern performance if you havent already and try that, as well as maf cleaner. Could be something with your mass air flow sensor, could be bad, or just need cleaned. Who knows, for a few bucks for maf cleaner its worth a shot, and if it is bad, thats only 60 bucks i think from your auto parts store. I have had similar issues with my car idling extremely rough, not making any boost/power. The last time I had an issue, I pushed together and tightened all the piping and clamps, cleaned the maf, changed my oil, disconnected the ecm and the battery for 15 minutes and turned the car back on and it was good again. Not sure which one of those things fixed my problem, but something did. Trying anything and everything is your best bet. I know its frustrating and makes ya hate life lol....you'll get it figured out.

My car slips real bad if i get on it at 35oo+..i never tried to go wot @ anything less than 3500rpm because i know its rough on the clutch/tranny...obviously at the track i ran it hard butit would die everytime i shifted in 2nd, and 3rd seemed like it had no *****..so i dont know, maybe i'll just go run it into a tree and say it was stolen...lol

I'm betting the solution will be easier than you think and you'll be happy again. You don't have any codes yet?

so, i still have no cel's, but car still has loss of power, and fluttery when accelerting in 2nd or decelerating from wot...i guess i will get a boost leak gauge from MPX to see if there is a small leak somewhere that i can't find...I think if there is a leak, it's coming from the BPV..Hopefully my turbo is still good

So to update this, I still have the fluttery/surging when letting off the gas, the car idling sucks, gas mileage is crap(16-18mpg), and power is way down...i hardly ever get on it, but when i do, it seems to fully boost still 24psi, and i have no cels...
yeah, good times

This is probably a reach especially in your climate but I'm curious if you've ever Seafoamed thru the intake manifold? If your valves aren't seating that would cause a "boost leak" of sorts/rough idle.
Your sig doesn't mention the upgraded 3 bar sensors; in the event you have them triple check the wiring if spliced in. G/L.

Thanks for your reply.
I am hoping my problems are not internal engine related, but anything is possible i guess.
I have not seafoamed my car before, but with only 40k miles, i didnt see a need.
Plus, i do not have the upgraded stage 1 sensors, so no worries there.

1. Bypass valve could be leaking
2. Check all vaccume lines for leaks etc
3. Clean all sensors with brake cleaner
4. Tighten all clamps use some muscle
5. Don't be lazy.
