Proper Amount Of Rear Brake Drag

Does anyone know just how much drag should be on the rear brakes when the car is up in the air and the rear wheel is given a good spin ? I recently replaced my drivers side rear caliper about three weeks ago. And I still think there is too much heat coming from that wheel after a good drive caused by too much drag. I have checked everything. The sliders are good and free. The pads are free in there cradle. The piston in the new caliper does take a fair amount of effort to start to turn in, But not an insane amount. But once it starts to turn in, It frees right up and becomes really easy to turn in. I'm almost wondering if the caliper isn't defective causing me to still have a stiff caliper dragging the brakes. The rotor after a short drive of about ten minutes is a fair amount hotter then the rear brake on the passanger side. I am just wondering if I am not chasing a problem that isn't even there, Or if there is a general rule as to how much brake drag should be on our cars ?

on disc brakes you dont want any drag if there is a slight amount thats fine, if the caliper is new the slides are clean and lubed all the hardwear is clean and lubed also it could be a restricted brake hose
or maybe a sticking ebrake cable? or the ebrake cable needs to be adjusted
look into those things next
