Question about the block...

is our block EXACTLY the same as the ones with sky/solsite?

really?? I'd be curious as to what would be different with both being an LNF and all. (I'm not saying you're wrong btw, I just honestly didn't know there was any bit of a difference)

Different motor mounts????? I would think the internals would be very very similar but maybe not the tune, computer or how it bolts to the frame (RWD vs. FWD)???

That's pretty much what I was thinking, but even that would be sort of odd just from a manufacturing stand point. As far as the ecm calibration, that shouldn't effect the block design in the least

I know for a fact there is differences on to the outside of the block. The internals are same.

MA5 (AR-5).. I'm not 100% on the bolt pattern, but I would assume there is a bell housing adapter that GM uses to mate the tranny and engine if the pattern is different

There was a kappa guy selling a block on lnf performance and the mounting points are different I think they said.
