Question about Exhaust???

http://www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com...EXHAUST/Detail

I know this link has been posted and a few of you said you would rather buy this and add a tip to it or a muffler of your choice, but hows come it says (non turbo) when it lists Cobalt SS? Why wont this fit the turbo model? If it will, than just disregard, I just didnt wanna buy it and it not fit.

SS/SC has a 2-bolt flange, SS/TC has a 3-bolt flange (connecting to DP)

Right now I'm just looking for something cheap. I aint totally worried about having stainless steel, just because on all the cars I've ever owned I just used aluminized and have never had a problem. I just want some sound right now. I figured right now I could get some exhaust and intake, (whenever it comes out) and then hopefully get a tune now or in a few months.

If you want to go cheap, just cut your stock muffler off. That way you're still stainless and sound good

cutting your muffler off would not void your warranty

Not really what I'm looking for. I mean, I'll spend a few hundred dollars, just not $500-600 just for some exhaust.

08CobaltSS/TC - Hey man, I was back on that Mandrelexhaust website looking at that 3" exhaust, and at the bottom of the page it has a place where you can choose between a 2 bolt flange and 3 bolt flange. So does this mean I can order this 3" exhaust piping, tell them I want a 3 bolt flange and it will hook right up to my car? Thanks

i did notice that as well but I'm not sure if that 3 bolt flange is for the TC since it says (non-turbo)

Hmm, yeah it says its for a certain car, I just didnt know if it would hook up the same. Because in the drop down box it has different choices, like you said you already saw. Guess if I cant find a cheaper exhaust system than Hahns or Jannetty Racing, I might look further into this. Thanks again
