I just bought my 09 ss/tc yesterday and i noticed a ticking sound from the engine...not sure what exactly it could be. almost sounds like a clock ticking. would this have something to do with a sensor or the turbo? i am new when it comes to turbos, so i do not know very much about them

My thought the same the first time I opened my hood.

 

The sort of grinding sound that my car has on cold start up is the most irritating sound to me. The ticking pales in comparison. What a weird sounding car.

 

i hit the deck because i thoguht my car was gunna explode

 

dont forget about that clunky transmission lol..also normal
