question about void warrenty/GMP Tune
Ok I got an 09 SS thats got 17000 miles on it so its still under warranty. my question is because i'm about to put on Hahn charge piping and CAI thats going to void the warranty if i leave it on when i go to the dealer correct?
so my question is will i get the same performance if i get the tune then put the charge piping and CAI rather than tuning with it and possibly losing my warranty?

Like ronn said GMS1 is a canned tune so a CAI won't add you any power it will just screw up your fuel trims. Don't get an intake unless you plan on getting a custom tune for it.
The dealership shouldn't care about the the charge pipes though but if you ever do have a serious warranty claim I would switch back to the stock pipes just to be safe, it only takes 20 minutes.

like tom said, most dealerships dont care enough about charge piping. if u blow ur motor then swap back to stock to keep ur warranty. i modded my balt, lowered intake and catback when it had a warranty and noone made a big deal about it

I looked at the Matt's ZZP snorkel mod, and sometimes feel that it isn't really necessary to do that. That's when I come to believe the intake on the airbox is the most restrictive one out of the bunch.
