I have the AEM intake with the silicone intake tube that comes with it.

Can I take it off and put your intake tube on instead and keep the metal piece from the aem unit?

Would it fit? Your silicone piece is a bit larger, I would think it would help with surging, allow more airflow.

Would be interested in ordering it, don't want to spend money if it won't work.

Figure I'd post here instead of email because I know others are wondering the same thing.

Maybe I could get 361 whp lol.

I think he wants to run zzp tubing, on a aem CAI, which leads me to think, why not just buy zzp's CAI?

Not sure what you're getting at troyss, yes, I am Canadian, and last time i checked my slowbalt was faster than yours, I don't see you higher on the stock turbo dyno list.

And yes, it is my belief that the AEM intake is the best for performance and flows the most lbs/min, at least by a few tests my tuner has run.

I think the zzp intake tube on the aem metal piece would be great.

The aem silicone piece also causes some surging, maybe the zzp replacement would help.

 

ZZP doesn't sell a whole complete LNF CAI, just the intake tube.
