Quick question on NLS and weird noise

I have a hhr ss with a 23 psi trifecta tune. I was practicing the nls tonight and had something weird happen. I went from first to second and right when it went into second, the car stopped accelerating and made a farting sound. I let off of the throttle and everything was normal after that. I dont know what it was, but it couldnt have been good. Does anyone have any ideas on what could have happened?

I've had a few NLS from 3rd to 4th gear where the car started farting .. I think its because of the driver .. practice and do it fast .. there shouldn't be a problem

It was misfiring,

The engine was may be too cold, or you nls too slowly.

I had that happen when i got my tune, it was cold outside, now with warmer weather its fine.
May be it was my bad a couple of times not shifting quick enought though... i was kind of afraid to push the car too much with the tune...

The 1-2 NLS is hard to pull off consistently - it happens so fast, and the tach lags a bit. It's normal to get a POP-POP sound though. I usually do a normal shift from 1-2 (the NLS doesn't seem to save any time because I just get wheelspin anyways!), and then NLS from 2-3 and 3-4. Anyone who's doing a NLS from 4-5 is going way too fast
