Raced my t/c at the track

my bone stock 08 ss t/c had its first passes at the track. the best run i made was a 14.697 at 99.58 mph. i was a little mad because its says it can run a 14.0 but i had traction problems cuz the track wasn't prepped properly. and i was a little nicer on it shifting through the gears. if i was to run again on a good track i bet it could run a 14.2, all in all i was pretty happy i one all my races. and btw there have been people that think launch controll dosent work as well a launching ur self well ur wrong

Im wondering if people will actually start to see how the tc's top end and ss/sc's top end have a dramatic difference once stage 2 is installed....

The tc will be a monster i cant wait to run one in the near future with my future setup in my ek hatch....

Hahah i was thinking the same thing . People have 60 footed much better with SS/SC's than 2.4 without it.

That's because you don't know how to drive it properly.

Yep....must be driver error brcause I usually have a 60 ft of 2.30 and get through the 1/4 mile in 14.64 at 100-102mph and my SS/SC is stock. After some more practice and getting used to your car I am sure it will drop down some more....

and this is in the wrong section. Put it in the drag section.

but that's sounds about what an average joe would run in a ss/tc. Doesn't surprise me at all.

and hahn's car was far from stock.

Yeah the tune is expensive, I never knew price made things from going from 2 mods to hellaciously modded...and turns the boost up to 21-23 lbs.

No MBC.

Tune and cat-back is a tune and a cat-back whether it costs 32098432 dollars or roughly 1600

22+psi is not stock. Gaining any control over this car's ecu is leaving stock grounds.

If he's not far from stock, then neither am I.

At least I'm still on the stock pulley, stock boost, stock intake, stock exhaust.

not taking anything away from the tc. 290 whp ,come on how much whp would the ss/sc make if it had a tune and 21 to 23 lbs of boost and 3'' exhaust,i think the ss/sc would make at least the same whp. what do you guys think?
