Rattle now after installing badmab dp

i just installed my badmab catless dp. I also added the defouler and i didnt know if i used the nut and washer that came with it. So i just left it on there and installed it... Now the defouler is in a position where it hits the heat shield causing it to rattle. Will someone please explain how to use the nut to position the defouler in a position where it wont rattle and also be able to have enough cord for the sensor to reach the defouler

IIRC is if I remember correctly. I know it was too long with everything on. I don't think I used the nut if the defouler is able to be spun on without the nut do so, it will gain you an extra 1/4"

Did you get the Vibrant defouler or a generic Autozone one (HELP brand)?

It also doesn't hurt to bend the heatshield a little I did that when I had my badmab without the defouler because the wires would rub. You should be able to just push on it with a finger or your hand.

Mine rattles a bit but only when it's cold, I might climb under and see if it's hitting or if it's just the vibration.

Like they said, just bend the heat shield. Mine has the washer on it still too. It's situated in a way that the defouler points to the front of the car. Works pretty well.
