I leave mine 7-8 clicks to hold and the only time they stick is after washing or rain when they rust to the rotors. Hawk HPS here. I washed it in the garage & it sat with the brake on for 4 days. Killed the engine before they let go. lol.

never had mine stick but sounds like your rears do need some grease... they're known to have a crappy grease job on the sliders from the factory. i had my rear pads and rotors replaced under warranty before i put it in storage so im hoping mine won't be stuck after sitting all winter

mine have been sticking most of the time lately. i've also noticed them griding when coming to a stop. Haha dealer replaced the pads before i bought the car and i've put about 1200 miles on them. i think i'll just yank them myself and grease the slides.

The sliders don't have a boot protecting them, so they constantly need cleaning/greasing. What a horrible design. One of the members on this site installed his own boots. I think I'll get around to doing that pretty soon.

I booted mine, actually, added foam rubber gaskets, surprisingly held up to the heat, really simple to do, can get them at autozone for like a buck.
