Going HP tuner.

I like the fact that with HP tuner you can get a tune from someone, and take the time to learn and see what the did and maybe someday tune it you're self and build off their work.
With Trifecta you're completely locked out from seeing the work to see exactly what has been done and building off of it.

I've just acquired a HPT Standard who has the most experience tuning a reliable daily driver at 6000ft above sea level? Cold winters and 100*F summers. Also in the winter we have temps during the day at 50-60*F and that same night we'll be below 0*F at times. It's definitely hard on plastic, rubbers, etc.

I thought instead of talking about how good Trifecta is and stuff, I'll try it HPT and form an accurate opinion. From what a lot of people have been telling me chances are I won't go back to TF, but there's a local member that went back to TF due to Terms über lean tune. He got scared out of HPT...

 

if someone is worried about being lean the person who is tuned can tell there tuner to make them a little richer.

 

Well that makes since... is it easy to do with HPT?

 

yes very easy...... our cars read lambda 1.00 lambda =14.6998 afr higher then 1 is leaner lower then 1 is richer..
