RPD not showing boost

Ok so early this morning after leaving the bar, I start my car and notice the rpd is not showing the two zeros for the psi. It just shows the decimal point with two blank spots on both sides of it. Also, the needle isn't showing either and in the center of the boost gauge is a red circle with a line going through it saying "no data available" also in red. I tried switching through different screens and restarting the car and both didn't work. I was almost home when it finally went away and went back to normal. It has to be a sensor but what would make it do that? This is the first time its ever done this. Has this happened to anyone before?

If it does it again, you can just reset the settings from the settings menu. It is common for it to act up if you just got tuned. I know sometimes when I first upload a tune to a RPD car, the colors are all out of whack and stuff. Resetting to factory settings fixes it.

Ok thanks man. I'm not tuned though and I've had GMS1 since March so its weird it would act up now.

your map sensor is getting shot, does the exact same thing to my RPD. Should have a CEL coming on soon enough.

There is a couple threads on this, with som great info if you want to look further.
I have an RPD, and it did the same. I found the map was blown.
When I pulled it out, I found it covered in oil, which I think is the problem of them continually dying.
I just bought mine from CED for $46.
I can get you the part number if desired
