Running lean after seafoam?

So last weekend i decided to seafoam my car. car was running fine prior to that. ever since, I have been throwing 2 lean codes (p2177) and a Manifold absolute pressure (map) system performance code (p0106). I changed out my O2 sensor thinking it might be bad and causing my A/F ratio to be off, and i get really bad miss firing while at WOT. Any ideas?

I would say vacuum leak, man. Go ahead and perform a boost leak test.

Loosened up some **** and fried your MAP manifold sensor? I just had some p0106 codes, and it was stuttering under low throttle, and running with 50% boost... changed out sensor and voila! back to normal

By chance, was the MAP sensor cracked?!

Please do. I was about to seafoam my car (I'm at 56K, got it at 54K, not sure if it has ever been done). Would want to see what could go wrong before I do it for the first time.

Also when i replaced the O2 there was a some liquid in there (looked and smelt like a mixture of carbon and gas) I have a defouler from MPX, is this normal to have that? I am assuming not.

I'm guessing a MAP issue, as well.

Cleaned what residual liquid I could from the defouler and seems to run better but still miss fires at WOT. Cel is gone also. I think I possibly put too much in through the vacuum line too fast and didnt burn all of it.

I replaced those after the sea foam (it was running bad before I changed them) they're good.

Is your engine fully warmed when you're getting misfires?

If you're running right, now, don't worry about it.

replaced spark plugs, made it better, but missfires at wot, dont know if youve fixed it by now, but imma go with you gapping the plugs wrong, and they were fowled after the seafoam. Play with your gap, start around 35, and go down if need be, bet it will fix it.

He's got a point. Did you buy oem plugs? (those wouldn't need to be re gapped) Helped me quite a bit with misfires at WOT I was having.

On an unrelated note, AZ520SS/TC, where in WA are you?

Silverdale (just south of Bremerton). I figured it out, wasn't the plugs or map, it was from putting too much seafoam in at one time and causing some not to burn and coating my O2. I cleaned the defouler and replaced the O2, and she runs fine now. So a heads up for first timers putting it in through the vacuum line, GO SLOW. Lol.

I hate to say it, st man, but the post-cat O2 has absolutely nothing to do with the way the car runs. It's just there to check the cat efficiency. Whatever it was went away on its own.
