I've never had any so called rust spots on my car due to the brake rotors. I don't really understand what you are talking about. Maybe its just me

The rust spots in the paint is known as rail dust. Typically you see it when you first get a car from the dealer and it has been shipped. A good clay bar will get rid of it and a good wax with a occasional wash and reapplication will protect you from anything like that again. White cars make it easier to spot. Its prolly isnt from your rotors. Other wise how would it get on your roof and hood? Its typical to get this on any car. Mostly coming from traffic driving that throws debris on your car. After setting on the car for a few days it begins to weather and show signs if not cleaned often
