Anyone know if the saab 9-3 shifter base and cables will work with the f40 conversion. ZZP supplies the buick regal base and cables which now leaves my BPS short throw unusable. not sure if there is a technical reason they went with buick or if it was just availability. I can pick up a saab 9-3 6 speed base and cables for pretty cheap if they will work.

 

I'm pretty sure my base and shifter is out of a Saab or at least the knob and collar for shift boot but if you want to go with a short throw for your f40 go with a 4h-tech best available option imo

 

ZZP supplies the Buick regal shifter base and cables. At least that is what the part number on the base comes up as. I had ordered a BPS shifter a while back when I got the conversion. Figured they used the saab base. Is the 4H tech better than the BPS shifter. If the saab base and cables wont work I guess that's my only option.

 

4h tech switches the counterweight on shifter tower and makes a huge difference just like a short throw also need to looks into Saab bushing reinforcement for shifter cable
