It isnt pointless, it still cleans the injector internals, reduces deposits on the injector tips and keep the chamber clean, the additive package isnt just for intake valve cleanliness. Lets also not forget that the intake valve is open at times with fuel swirling around.

And in the end, its just a new additive package that they happened to adverise the **** out of....if they changed it and didnt advertise none of you would be discussing it, youd be discussing Exxons new fuel with Krypton.

Is it really like 93 octane? Most I can find around here is 91.

R/M+2 is pretty much the cut and ddry standard for street octane here in the USA. Ive never seen a pump that gave out only Research or Motor Octanes here.....I think using a single number is a Euro/Oz thing, thats why youll see they often have 98 octane fuel............

Agree, its more of a cleaning agent then anything. I asked the guy at the counter at Shell who was more than happy to tell me about it. LOL, anyways its funny how people start to think this additive is a octane booster or something.

Five times the amount? My car runs off of gas guys, not cleaning agents. Make sure you leave some gas in there too.

Nitrogen doesn't burn..it is INERT. I don't care what you mix it with!! The nitrogen molecules in the mixture are still NITROGEN and they DON'T burn. Most cutting torches I know of are oxygen and acetylene also know as Oxyacetylene. Now that burns. Also, the air we breath is 70% nitorgen and 30% oxygen. Adding more nitrogen to the torch fuel adds NOTHING to the value of the flame. You're just wasting nitrogen. Go on line and look up Nitrogen oxygen torches and see what it says.
