Is everyones tach as slow as mine? Shifting 1-2 at WOT is tricky at times because the tach is so slow that you need to shift at 6400 on the tach when you are actually shifting at 6800 according to the scan. The easy solution is to raise the rev limiter to keep from hitting fuel cut, but I just wish it was more accurate.

 

idk if its a repost either, but both my speedo and tach lag. im sure everyones balt does it. i guess we just have to live with it

yea it is a tad slow

 

mine is slow, you just have to get used to it

 

it is something built into the tach by gm
just zing it to the moon!

 

It's been common for years on GM cars, my Camaro has RPM lag at WOT.
