smoking after boost?
im a 2.2 turbo. did some cleaning up under the engine today and cut my pcv valve hose to short so now it has a kink. could this cause my car to smoke after boost and sometimes at idle? or is it more serious? was planning to rebuild very soon but its a DD and the only car i have. the smoke appears to be whiteish greyish? i cant really tell from my mirrors.
i also have a small leak in my feed line but that is already ordered.

Since no one else replied. I'm sure others are more knowledgeable but I'll give my input.
You should get that fixed asap. (The PCV hose) Chances are that pressure is building up that would otherwise be drawn out that hose. Consequently it's seeking another path to push out and can take oil with it. The smoke you are seeing is likely oil being burned which can create other costly issues such as fouling your plugs or O2 sensor.
Just in case though, since you said it might look whitish. Check your oil for signs of coolant. Might look like dirty mayo.

and if it is coolant in the oil [milkly look], go the dealership and have them check for a blown head gasket or crack cyl sleeves..

White smoke with a sweet smell to it generally means coolant. I'd be worried about a blown head gasket or something else major like a cracked block. Make sure to get that looked at. You might consider a compression test on your own to see if the gasket is still intact.
