If it was bad valve seal's it'd do it most of the time and your intake would be filled with oil from all of the time's it's in boost. And the chance's of it being valve seals are slim because that'd mean your valve to guide clearances are like a 40 yo tai hooker. Get a new dipstick because they way you made it sound the tip is cut off.
arrgggg. Oil wouldn't smoke white. so if your dad is a mechanic im glad he doesn't work on my ****.
what does the cloud that comes by the window smell like? oil, could it be coolant? is your coolant low at all?

well like i said he "used" to be a mechanic...like 30+ years ago. and its funny how now all these brainiacs come out after like 2 weeks lol and it smells like oil...and it comes directly from the exhaust tip.
It's CSS, what the **** we're you expecting? A good old fashion blow job from some scantily clad anorexic girl while some PhD in automotive engineering diagnoses your problem to a tee with what you've posted?
Ain't gunna ******* happen buddy.

used to be. oil has burned blue FOREVER. White is Coolant or trans fuild.
does it do it right at startup, say after sitting overnight. that is typical of Valve seals.
could it possibly be Turbo Seals. i dont own an LNF, but are the Turbos Oil Cooled, im guessing no as this is page 3 and no one said it yet

Start doing tests like the guy above said never hurts to try one and that's probably what we'll have to do so we'll know what's really going on here.
at this point i would go with the Compression/Leak down Test. im sure you can rent the tool at Autozone and read online how to do it. if you're somewhat mechanically inclined you can probably figure it out. write down the results for all cylinders, don't try and remember them.

okay so i took my car to the dealer today for a cylinder leakdown test because of smoking from the exhaust (oil kind) and this is how the results came back...
Cyl # Compression /Cyl. Leakage
1- 140psi /1- 10%
2- 135psi /2- 12%
3- 135psi /3- 10%
4- 135psi /4- 20%
According to the tech, all those are within spec? I personally dont know but 20% seems a little high on cyl. 4. Whats the dealio?
Could this also be a case of a turbo seal? open to any ideas/suggestions

well what the deal is, is that i do have warranty but it is flagged cuz of all the parts. they haven't informed me that the warranty is removed yet tho. and im pretty sure this dealer sucks at life cuz they even charged me for this leakdown test (they didn't tell me that i was gonna have to pay for it at the first). then i asked if they could take it in and go in deeper to find out whats wrong and they kinda refused. they said they they would have to tear everything apart to find out exactly..and even then it would be hard to tell. so they dont seem to willing to work with me at all.
if the local dealership won't work with you, you can try an alternate dealership or contact General Motors customer support. GM Support will help guide you through the process, but don't be surprised if they find out whats wrong and you end up paying for it anyway.
The best option would be to contact GM Customer support, explain the situation in full and ask if there is anything they can do to help. Also, make sure to read the Moss-Magnuson act in its entirety so you are aware of your rights regarding warranty repairs.

[edit] also: http://www.lemon-law-explained.com/m...ranty-act.html
This will help you understand your rights as a warranty holder and consumer of warrantied product.

took it to a few different places today and one place suggested that it could be turbo seals and another place said that he was 90% sure it was turbo seals..and a good way to check was if there was oil in the chargepipes and whatnot. so i pulled the chargepipes (finally..been dealing with 0 degree weather and snow for 3 weeks) and sure as **** there was a good amount of oil in the hotside pipes. So...im thinkin its turbo seals.
