Spark plugs?

Hey everyone I'm thinking about changing my spark plugs on my 09 SS, should I get OE ones for it and if so what are the OE plugs ? , iridium ones ? Or should I get the next size colder plug , the car is stock, pretty much just has a muffler delete and K&N filter thanks for the help

This has been discussed endlessly. You want the stock AC Delco plugs gapped at .032". They should be that outta the box but get a feeler gauge just to be certain.

^ What he said, and also, you don't need colder plugs until you get alot of mods on her. Sometimes even then, some guys prefer the stock plugs; but I personally think it depends on how the individual car reacts to modding, or it may be the local fuel availability as well. I had to go 1-step colder for basically fully bolted, and have gone 2 step colder for adding a ported head with cams on top of that. Our fuel up here sucks too, so it may have somethin to do with it.

^^^ This. Definitely check them with a feeler gauge though, because I bought some replacements and 1 out of the 4 was gapped at .028 maybe they dropped it lol. I regapped it to .032 with the rest of them as mentioned and never had any issues.
