Spec 3+ installed

I installed a Spec 3+ clutch and Spec lightweight flywheel in my HHR SS.

I used jack stands and did it by myself following the LSJ install (minus the wife holding the brake to break free/torque the axle nut and clutch bleeding).
* We (LNF) do not need a E10 torx bit
* We (LNF) also don't need a 30mm axle nut socket, we need a 36mm. (at least the HHR SS did).

Clutch is working great, no chatter what so ever with the light weight flywheel.

Others said they get a chatter on cold start up with the Spec lightweight flywheel, mine is just as quite as the factory clutch.

I put 10 miles on the clutch driving around town, no more then 3k rpms.

Then took it out on I-65 and put 20 more miles on it at no more then 3k rpms.

Engagement is low, like every single race clutch I have ever used including the one in the turbo Van I currently have.

But pedal pressure is almost exactly like stock.

Yep, just need to get 500 miles on it to beat on it. Wife will be driving it starting tomorrow to get me 500 miles, since my daily routine is about 6-10 miles a day
Plus she will baby it

Also when I took it out for the initial break in, some young dude in a Monte Carlo SS wanted to play.
Do you know how hard it was to not do anything.

The engaugment should be close to stock. You may need to bleed it a few more times.

its a great clutch, ive had mine one for 9months now with no problems; and the best part is once you break it in it feels like stock. since i put it in i do digs, 40rolls+ and break boost on it and it has never slipped on me once and i love its daily driving capability, its so forgiving and it has a nice grab. when your in first gear if you let go the clutch slowly with no gas the car will sill go

I bleed it again after the initial drive, but I haven't taken it back out yet for another drive.

I'll bleed the system a few times more times over the next week of driving.
