Thanks for the great feedback, and thank you for the orders.

BTW, today is the last day for the special introductory pricing for the TWM short shifter, don't miss out! Prices go back to retail tomorrow morning.

Check it out: TWM Cobalt SS/SC and SS/TC Short Shifter Sale

I have the Hurst on my SS/TC

Bought it off Karo, and the reverse lock out works if you put it in right.

If you don't it doesn't and it doesn't make it undrivable.

Just installed the TWM shifter with the Satin finish knob for the SS/TC.

However I won't be able to tell how good it feels because my car is on jack stands at the moment. Getting my wheels powder coated.

The short shifter looks great with the satin knob! I'm anxious to see it with the powdercoated wheels. I had my wheels powdercoated gunmetal earlier this year and they turned out really nice

The flat black and gunmetal shift knobs are still at the finishing supplier, we'll ship your order as soon as we get them back with upgraded shipping. I apologize for the delay.

Thanks,

Kevin

The SS interior is includes SS-embroidered sport seats with suede-like UltraLux inserts, a special gauge cluster, a pillar mounted turbo boost gauge and a special short throw-shifter.
So if it comes with one why would we buy another one for the 2008/09 SS/TC??

I have to agree. I installed one of these shifters into an ION REDLINE and my SS/TC's shifter has shorter throws...

What is the stock throw length on your SS/TC, the distance from 1st to 2nd or 3rd to 4th? I believe the SS/SC was also advertised as having a short throw shifter, but the TWM short shifter reduces the SS/SC throw by 33% and knob height by 1" inch over stock for an even shorter throw. In addition, our aluminum base bushings remove a lot of play from the shifter for a more solid and direct shift feel.

Thanks,

Kevin

Thanks for the props! We manufacture aluminum shifter base bushings for lots of different models and they have proven to be one of our best sellers and highly rated products. Overall they're a great bang for your buck mod!

Possibly... We were so busy developping the short shifter in our last test cars that we did not investigate the possibility of linkage bushings. We'll check on it the next time we have a SS/SC or SS/TC in for an install.

Thanks for the great feedback guys!
