Bet they installed a catback, air intake, and tuned it. It should be in the low 13's right now and once they perform a few more tricks to it it'll go 12's.

I am about to buy this BSR tune.

Hey Bill does it keep the no lift shift?

Also 7k redline(please God say yes) in the 1st two gears right?

Steddy -

You bring up a good point. Why the low rev limit on the 2.0L? I'm not sure of the bore/stroke but I would think most 2.0Ls could spin upwards of 7K. I suppose it depends on how oversquare the motor is.

SR20DETs with a 86/86 could go to 7800 in stock trim.

More of a TQ rescriction than anything...but jesus I had a tuned LE5 before this car...I still run into the rev limiter

7k>6250 any day...

This engine is square I believe...and the valvetrain on Eco's are one of their strong points.

S1=reflash with more boost and a higher redline

If not...BSR is being ordered Monday

There is more to picking a shift RPM than running it up to max red line. Go back to page 3 and look at the dyno, HP starts to fall off after 6200 or so. The part of that dyno chart that's missing is torque. You want RPMs to fall back into your peak torque right after a shift. Need to consider that too.

There is a restriction - whether its the exhaust, turbo or something else. A good boosted car will continue to make power to the fuel cut.

Depends on the turbo and whether or not it runs out of breath up top.

The exhaust isn't too rescrictive.

We get pops on upshifts.

3" back to the resonator then 2.5" from there

The intake on the other hand...but still isn't all that bad.

Here's the timeslip!

I have an enormous amount of data to compile and analyze, along with vids to post. I should have time to do so this evening. In the meantime, feel free to ask any questions here, and I'll address them when I get back.

What a fun car!

Thank you, and yes sir, stock in every way save for our mods.

BELIEVE me, this is far from optimized...for a first time out, we actually learned more than anything, so there'a a lot left on the table with this car. It was sticky hot and humid too, with corrected altitude in the 2500 ft. region.

ONWARD! So much more to come

What a fun car!
what mods are on the car? what was the car being launched at? the 2.0 60ft looks as though you didn't leave off the 2 step. The car looks very healthy up top. GREAT RUN AND SIGN ME UP FOR THE MODS!

I just got my car dyno'd this weekend and the speed shop was pushing hard to let them start messing around with trying to tune it.. uh... no. They told me this was the first DI car they had dyno'd and were going to use my dyno charts as baselines to compare to other cars (AFR wise)
thats more torque management and boost control then the turbo.

Couple more questions bill,

What rpm were you shifting at?

What is the redline?

Were you using the launch control?
