Boost spike All part of the game with LNF in 'post modified' form. It smooths out over time.

Ah, good old Route 66 raceway. My home away from home!
It was a very interesting evening. I have much to share, but the hour grows late, so I will save the meaty stuff for tomorrow.
I'll leave you with this for now...How many feet are in a 1/4 mile?

You bring up a good point. Why the low rev limit on the 2.0L? I'm not sure of the bore/stroke but I would think most 2.0Ls could spin upwards of 7K. I suppose it depends on how oversquare the motor is.
SR20DETs with a 86/86 could go to 7800 in stock trim.

7k>6250 any day...
This engine is square I believe...and the valvetrain on Eco's are one of their strong points.
S1=reflash with more boost and a higher redline
If not...BSR is being ordered Monday

There is more to picking a shift RPM than running it up to max red line. Go back to page 3 and look at the dyno, HP starts to fall off after 6200 or so. The part of that dyno chart that's missing is torque. You want RPMs to fall back into your peak torque right after a shift. Need to consider that too.

Here's the timeslip!
I have an enormous amount of data to compile and analyze, along with vids to post. I should have time to do so this evening. In the meantime, feel free to ask any questions here, and I'll address them when I get back.
What a fun car!

Thank you, and yes sir, stock in every way save for our mods.
BELIEVE me, this is far from optimized...for a first time out, we actually learned more than anything, so there'a a lot left on the table with this car. It was sticky hot and humid too, with corrected altitude in the 2500 ft. region.
ONWARD! So much more to come

what mods are on the car? what was the car being launched at? the 2.0 60ft looks as though you didn't leave off the 2 step. The car looks very healthy up top. GREAT RUN AND SIGN ME UP FOR THE MODS!

Im looking forward to the turbo upgrade! The stock turbo is WAY too undersized - it runs out of air around 4.5k rpm...
I just got my car dyno'd this weekend and the speed shop was pushing hard to let them start messing around with trying to tune it.. uh... no. They told me this was the first DI car they had dyno'd and were going to use my dyno charts as baselines to compare to other cars (AFR wise)
