no I slammed on the brakes right before the finish line I believe. He's a friend of mine so I always **** with him. One of the runs in practice he missed a gear so he was REALLY far behind so I slowed down almost to a stop and waited for him at the finish line. EVERY single time we raced in that event over a 6 week period so it was allot the announcer always said the G35 would take me"That dang cobalt is fast man but my moneys on the infiniti for the win" EVERY f'n time.

Go on youtube and search mn street cars and see how a stock ss/tc does against a 350z. Haha, that's me.

Raced one when I was bone stock. From like 30-80ish he sat about a car behind me. Dont know what he had. Exhaust sounded louder but not sure

 

I remember racing a 350z with stage 2 clutch from SPEC and cool ram intake. Beat him by the nose because I end up NLS and missed the gear going 1st to 2nd, so I had to play catch up played catch up when he was about a car ahead of me and got him about 1/4 inch. 350z are all talk, until they really get some work done to them. I know my buddy in his stock Cobalt SS/TC beat a G35 from a friend told me. So G35's and 350Z's are good close race to run with.

 

only if u race a 03-06 350z. if u race a 07-08 350z then you dont stand a chance. those pull on ss/tc too. lol. i found that one out.

 

LOL, yeah it was an 04 350z I pulled. 06-08 is when they improved the motor and transmission.
