SSTC Recirc Valve

Im sure this is a repost but I had to bring it up. Here is so you can run an aftermarket BOV.

Note that they offer a fitting so that you can use it as a recirc...

I don't have that kinda money to spend on a noise maker.

I think I'll stick with one of these:

Boo! I don't like the sound the Super Sequential BOV's make, so I probably won't like the sound they make on the SS/TC, but I guess it's better than nothing right now. (Because there is nothing as of yet!).

Ehh. Their ok.... If it's the only option, than I'm definately down!

I will do with either of these 3 options: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FszbPFnxZKE

But IMO, it DEFINATELY has to audible like these are!

That could be a big hurdle to overcome when looking to switch the BOV.

Those are just a bunch of generic parts, you can find them anywhere. You'll have to weld the flange onto your piping, then route the bov back into the stock intake and block off the stock bov.

yea but i bet it wil look just like the one i posted bc they need to recirculate that air... so the sound probably wont be as loud as the ones you hear on srt-4s but its all good.. but my buddy did a ghetto short ram intake on his SS/TC it sounded bad ass and it totally changed the sound. he took it off tho bc he did have sensor hooked

thats stupid to say... bc if you do aftermarket turbo you are gonna have to do a aftermarket BOV. bc you would have to do new turbo and wastegate.. and probably do pipeing.. and all... ppl want one designed to work with the stock turbo,,, but honestly..
BOV is only going to make a cool sound wow... a sound that will cost you like $300 when it comes out....

yea but most ppl want it for the stock setup.... like if they make one designed for aftermarket turbo kit.. its not likely to fit stock kit lol...... i mean i agree that it would be cool. but if they make an aftermarket recirc valve.. it wont sound like a BOV... bc the air will not go to atmosphere it will go into intake... just get an intake it will do the job.. pfft.

If you're worried about this/ or want a BOV then simply ask for something to be fabbed up from Synapse since they already have the charge piping done....but yeah, I had emailed Hahn back about 2 months ago and they're working on a recir. bypass valve like the one out for the solstice...but how loud it would be is in question?

I agree !!! I guess we will wait on the aftermarket! dejon powerhouse makes a stiffer spring that would make the bypass valve even louder and hold boost better.

stiffer spring + intake= ss/tc bov for now.....
