Stage 1 kit for cobalt t/c

I bought a superchip before this stage kit came out. I want to get the stage 1 kit as well though. Is it possible to have the stage 1 kit and a superchip at the same time or is it one or the other?

I'm pretty sure you can install the sensors with the stage 1 and then overwrite the tune to get even better gains if thats what your asking

You can't tune on top of the GMS1 kit with your Superchips since the superchips tune is for use with stock sensors. I would refrain since you would void you warranty if you flashed over it the kit and caused a problem. Actually the superchips will void your warranty as well if you ever took it into the dealership and they scanned the ECU and saw it had been flashed. People have had issues verifying even the GMS1 tune at dealerships who don't know about the kit. Just be aware than any other flash except the GMS1 will cause warranty issues if the dealer detects it.

I had the SuperChips tune and am much happier with the stage kit.

Superchips and GMS1 make about the same power so it would be pointless anyway even if it could work

GMS1 FTW. Keeps factory warranty and removes closed loop learn down. You can add parts to your car without having to retune it.

If you add an aftermarket intake, tuning is required to keep the fuel trims in line Stage 1, HPT, Trifecta, SC or K&N drop in /air box mod. Most other mods won't affect fuel trims much.

The learn down is gone in the stage 1 package so any gains from exhaust, intercooler piping, downpipes ect. will be of long term benefit.
