Oh ok gotcha. I will be Trifecta and HP dual tuned. I want to run at 23 psi. I too have to run the urine that California sells for motor fuel. Yea I am hoping for as much or more torque and like 20 more hp. The torque on mine may come on later though since I have a straight through exhaust.

Good luck!
btw, I looked more closely ay my#s...
On today's dyno I gained about 10-15 ft lbs right around 2500RPM..315ft lbs vs 300ft lbs. The low end torque on this car is pretty amazing.

Here is old chart for reference. The lower line was original tune that came with the car..the upper blue line was the tune at the first dyno. Today's was almost identical.

That's pretty wicked for just a DP and exhaust. Nice job. I may have to rock some Methanol injection later on to increase the power a bit more. Sometimes I hate My addiction to speed. But most of the time I love it.

Keep in mind that dyno shown had STOCK exhaust and zero bolt ons..bone stock!
Today's dyno had DP & Catback..no gains except for that small increase in torque at 2500 rpm. The silencer cut todays results some, so *maybe* I would have eeked out a couple extra hp without it..sacrificing a bit of low end.

Yea, those are still pretty good numbers for simple bolt ons. You should get a Cold Air Intake too.

At *my age*...I'm more into nice and quiet now. I had an Injen short ram..DP and Evo Catback on my Camry TRD SC. Now that car got attention when I was at WOT So, I'm pretty much done here. I do have rotated tranny mount..Pedders and Hardcore bar in the rear. Ya might wanna do the same. Makes quite a difference at the cornering limits with minimal wheel hop on launches (rotated mount).

Yea that stuff will come next year. Along with a Clutchmasters stage 4 probably 6 puck, slicks and then we shall see how "Sweet Melissa" launches then.

For under 350 WHP I would NOT get a pucked clutch. You will impart a HELL of a lot more load on the tranny. I like Clutchmasters..had stage 2 in the Camry SC. If you really want to upgrade..go to stage 3..segmented Kevlar face. It's your call though.

Yea I haven't really looked a whole lot at them yet. But I'm kinda hoping that the slicks would absorb enough shock to keep the trans in one piece.

I'm looking at the ZZP clutches. I tend to trust them a little more than the big companies when it comes to telling me what works and what doesn't.

I know when the time comes for a new clutch for me, I will not be going with Clutchmaster. Nothing but bad luck with the couple I put on my old Evo.

Ok a little update. I got the Trifecta tunable file loaded on today along with the HP tune base file from term. I just went out to datalog it a few minutes ago. It pulls like a beast. It boosts at like 24-25 right now. The BOV is working perfectly, everything looks and sounds great. Term says I need to datalog a few more times. After I'm done logging it, I will hit up the dyno and give everyone numbers. Right now the butt dyno is satisfied, the stock tires are having problems hooking up even without nls from second to third and I currently am still sporting an ear to ear grin.

The Black Friday sales came and went. I almost bought a DP but got tied up in chores then had to go to work. Now I'm glad I've been so cautious about buying parts, 'cause this thread mentions a $2490 bolt-on kit that doesn't include a turbo upgrade, and a DP/catback that doesn't add ponies. I bought the GMS1 which cost $40/HP. I'm not sure I'll get that kind of return again until I can afford the ZZP turbo upgrade.

Custom tune would have gotten you a ton more power than a GM stage 1 kit and it would have cost you less than half as much money. Custom tune = ~$5 per hp gained.

It spikes 25 psi max and holds 24psi which is perfect IMHO. VE airflow is very good and I am adding more spark advance to see how much it will take without knocking. Considering the 91 octane gas it working very well actually.

The car is running great. No knock at 24-25 psi and 0.88 lambda even on that cat pee () you guys have for gasoline out there. I added 2* more WOT timing to see if it likes a little more advance.

Do a 50/50 mix of E-85 and 91 octane. It is basically a free mod that is normally worth about 30 whp.

Well Treadstone is offering some pretty good pricing now. You would have to check the vendor pages and their posts to confirm this but last I checked they were offering like 15% off I think. And piecing a kit like this together would cost quite a bit. Basically these are all supporting mods to be ready if I ever turbo swap.

Yea our gas here is crap but I only run Chevron in the ol girl if I can she seems to like that the best.

The closest gas station to my house charges $0.40/gallon more than premium for E-85?!?!?! is that b.s. So running E is out for right now.

Sorry I missed your post before. I asked Term about it and hes said 25 is fine. And there are guys who have run up to 30 with stock motor, and I think stock turbo? I could be wrong about that being on stock turbo.

Yea the numbers should be pretty good but I gotta hit the dyno this week, I'll keep everyone posted.

That is crazy normally E-85 is $0.40 cheaper than gas. It is doing well on the 91 octane though. It will cost only about $3-4 a tank more than 91 octane though.

30 psi can be run but it is hit or miss some have blown their motors others have had no issues at all. The powerband is normlly better at 24-25 psi on the stock turbo than it is at 30 psi especially on gasoline. E-47 gives an extra measure of safety at higher than 25 psi boost levels due to its impressive knock resistance.

Yea but over the entire year it would add up. I will run race gas before I run E-85 around here anyways. The nearest station for E is like 20 miles away and I can get aviation fuel 5 miles from my house at a little municipal airport... That could be interesting.
