What I saw posted in the other thread about ADM's results was not what was expected of this kit. Maybe the kit doesn't deliver the 18-19 psi that was promised, looks more like 22 psi to me, but I have not seen it first hand.

I will be testing this kit on a local car here, and obviously sharing the dyno results compared to stock, and then compared to after my revisions.

Something has to be done about this kit, and it needs to get onto some Cobalts!
this is specifically for the cobalt right? but is it only for the 08's right now or is wat your gettin good for the 09's too?

Right now because HPT can't show us all of the changes I would have to rebuy it for 09 too.

Once HPT decides to give us the tables we need you wont need to rely on GM to make a stage kit for 09.

smart man. The cost of labor and parts on that car is probly almost 3x more than what its worth.

If your car wasn't under warranty I wouldn't take it to a dealer anyhow.

well of course. If hes got a 7 year, 100k PT warranty Id be damned if I would give that up. Soak those dealers for everything that goes wrong.

he could always mod it then turn it back to stock if something breaks

^Thats risky though

Either get close with your dealer or get another ECU for tuning and you'll be fine

i used to work at the dealership i take my car for service too, i was actually working in service too but I know how the manager is and don't wanna *** around too much. The 2nd ECU is a possibility but i don't wanna be swapping stock to tune back to stock back to tune, not really ever. If GM screws me over on the 09 stage kit then i'll be getting a 2nd ECU but I won't be happy about switching back to stock each time i goto the dealership.......i suppose there are worse things in life tho

We're talking about the dealership, not the gas station. If you had to swap it to pump gas I'd understand, but I've been to the dealer twice in 3 years......not exactly a big problem.

yea i know.........just not sure i'm rdy to ride that line yet.....it'd be nice to keep it stock for auto-x and still be able to have a tune for the street, so very tempting!!
