Stock boost?
Stock boost?
What is the stock boost level that most people seem to be holding on this forum and at what gear? Also what spike do most people hit?
I'm seeing about 14-14.5psi in 3rd and 4th gear, not checking 2nd gear, but does that seem right?
Im pretty sure I though I saw 15-16psi when I drove off the dealers lot.
The only thing I could think of is that the ambient air tempuratures have fluctuated and the learn down feature is adjusting boost to make that stock 260hp and 260trq. (it got colder outside since I bought the car)
Checked charge piping, seemed intact.

At the track, when it was easily 88 degrees, I was pulling in 123 degree air (intlet temperature), at the top of third, and low end of fourth (NLS from 3rd to 4th) I saw 18.8 as the highest boost reading I have ever seen! But normally it's 14-16.
wow hope your intercooler was working.
at 70-72 degrees i hit 18PSI for like 3 secs in 3rd before i had to shift into 4th before passing the finish line. 18 is the highest iv ever gotten and i only got it once probly because of the temp and the fact taht the conditions were decent. on average my boost peaks at 15Psi in 3rd.
I have 600 miles on my car and i'm on my way to the dealership to have it checked out, i was seeing 20 psi in a quickness, and now only seeing about 17 maybe 18 if i'm lucky and my turbo seems to be
spooling way slower... i'll let you guys know what i find out....

I peaked at 17.8 when it was 94 degrees outside. Normally in weather from 55-80 degrees Fahrenheit I'm peaking around 15-16.
Weather, humidity and temp all play big rolls in how much or how much you don't boost.

The dealership said that the spec is 12 psi.... and on our road test with the mechanic we were seeing 18.8 on his scan tool and on the gauge was at 18... basically they had no answers and considered my concerns for loss of boost psi something to laugh at... oh well? i bought it pushing 20 all the time!
^^^But....you were still pushing 260 ft/lbs either way you go. 20 PSI or 12 PSI. I usually see an even 15 until about 5500RPM, then she peaks to like 18 until I shift. whoosh then WHOOSH shift then whoosh.
i <3 boost.
