Stock Boost Levels......

just wondering what kind of STOCK max boost LEVELS some of you ss/tc guys are seeing? IF U WANT TO POST UR MAX BOOST LEVELS WITH A TUNE AND MODS, THATS COOL ALSO.

but mostly want to see bone stock max boost levels?

and please don't be a lying bonehead and bum everyone out by bs'ing and saying your running 25psi bone stock....

and what gears are you seeing your highest levels?

ambient air temps would be helpful also....

sounds bout right for trifecta, vince spoke of temp 25 spike , then settling at 21-22, btw, is it spiking or creeping to 25? what gear? was it cold out?

i wouldn't want to hold 25psi for any longer than like a second!!!

i was on the highway and i was doing 55mph when i dropped it down into second while competitive mode was on and i managed to spike it to 16Psi. thats the max iv ever been able to get it to. after that once i get to third the most iv ever achieved is around 15Psi at peak then it goes to about 10-12psi pretty much the rest of the way.

+1 I live in New England and the weather changes every other day...right now its 50, tomorrows supposed to be 70, and sunday 80.... throughout the year Ive had it Ive consistantly stayed at 15-16psi. This leads me to believe that elevation is the main factor in the learn down, not the temperature, but thats just my opinion.

Mine was always 15-16 psi as well it can be 30* out or 100* it was always the same. The temp does not change the density of the air enough to cause the ECM to up the boost to make the desired air load stock. Altitude changes will make a difference though.

most I have seen is 120 KPA (in Canada) or a little over 17 PSI. It normally hits that in second gear. It's been less than 10 degrees celsius when I do that, I don't try and push it in anything in the negatives (especially with performance tires still on in the winter lol)

Find someone who lives in Denver in another area of high altitude - they'll probably have the highest stock psi levels you'll find. My guess is ~19psi is the highest anyone will see stock.

As for me I drive in an area where elevation varies around 700~900 ft above sea level. In the winter, I would see 12~13psi tops. In the summer, I'd say ~15psi tops.
