Stock clutch and E
here is my two cents. i think you need a clutch. you are already fully bolted and
tuned and wanting even more power now. the E will give it to you. i was slipping my
clutch on a very aggressive gas tune. there may be some freak clutches out there
but i think most of them aren't tuned as aggressively as they think. you can adjust
wastegate duty in the midrange to help with clutch slip but obviously you are losing
power. i say if you plan on keeping the car and playing with it, get a clutch. in my
sedan, i had just a downpipe and a kn drop in for mods. on E47 with the clutch
slightly slipping all the way thru 3rd it pulled a 5.05 60-100 time. that is aggressive.
and unless you just kill the clutch, it should stop slipping once you reduce the power
levels.
