stock lnf power ratings

Trying to figure a few power ratings out. I heard the engine was pretty good till around 500+ hp? Also was wondering how much the tranny and clutch could handle and anything else you guys can think of. Reason im asking is im looking for upgrading the turbo and some other things and want to know some of the power ratings and what is all going to need to be upgraded. Thanks.

Clutch between 320-360wtq. That is babying it though. Lots of people get slippage lower than that.

Completely stock the engine is good to 450-500hp. There are ALLOT if factors that contribute to that.I would base doing an engine build off of your over all power output goals. 450 or less you should be good with stock internals if your not pushing it all the time. But if your goals are higher than that a safe build would include internals.

Tranny this is up for debate. Few people are running stock tranny with just clutch upgrade. Truth be told your asking allot of it at 420-450wtq. It's just a granade with a loose pin. You might be lucky. Treat it bad and Evan under 400wtq can wreck them. 3rd gear usually goes.

Tranny/engine mounts would be recommended for power over 375whp or more. And a clutch is a must for any turbo build. The k04 is already capable of roasting a clutch with an aggressive tune!

If your planning a turbo build I would only assume your doing ic piping and an fmic upgrade.
