What pressure are you running? That sounds like numbers for the 21 PSI tune.

Get a real tune hahaha that was for all you hardcore trifecta fans . I had to. But those numbers are average i guess i can say for no bolt ons.. It also depends on type of tune meaning aggressive and ect. to me with no mods id keep you around 22 and timing prob 17-18* since i couldnt run much boost if i can get away with that much timing. What octane do you use and ect, what is the humidity and temps in the dyno shop. it all matters..

Minus the usual Trifecta bashing I agree with this post. Lots of variables affecting the outcome of a dyno run.

Not to but in, but what whp numbers would someone expect to see after intercooler, 2.5" AL charge piping. Injen CAI, turboxs 3" catless DP and 3" Cat back exhaust.

When I had ZZP canned tune (which is HPT) and no bolt ons here's my numbers

ZZP Canned Tune Superflow Dyno - YouTube

After I got fully bolted my dyno was 295whp or something like that on ZZP canned (HPT) tune, then I went Trifecta and got to 310whp.

I like Trifecta, personally I'm happy with it.

Yup, I have all the stuff in my sig and I'm 310whp 377wtq. There's people happy with HPT here in Colorado, but a lot of them run lean, some think it's too lean and others think it's fine. I'm to worried about it so I'll stick with Vince

HPT is on the tuner not the program. I dont trust the random tuner down here that claims he knows what he's doing on a 4 banger turbo. when all he tunes is ls2,3,7,9 v8 engines. I would trust Vinces' canned tune over some guy that claims he knows what he's doing. But then again there are those ppl that are Genius with our cars on HPT... For now there are non in socal that I have found. So I stuck with Trifecta and it's awesome.

I was being conservative with my numbers. I've seen ppl get 350 whp and 400 wtq on dynojet.. on 93 no meth trifecta tune.. so It could have been the dyno too.

This id depressing. I have turbo back 3" exhaust, cai, hot side pressure pipe, and had. Local shop modern automotive performance tune it and they only got me 260whp.. paid 450 for nothing the way it sounds.

Exhaust doesn't do anything, only downpipe does, but yeah that does suck

Thanks

This is pretty good news for me, i was hoping to hit at least 300WHP and still be reliable, i have alot more stuff to order and put on but I'm getting there. Ill probably go with the Trifecta tune because i have never tuned and don't know of a good local tuner. I'm about a hour south of Pittsburgh PA if anyone can recommend me to anywhere within a few hours that's good for tuning, that would be Awesome. Thanks guys

So wut exactly is lean. Its all a tuner preference. Each tuner is different. I ramp a sready afr creep from 13.5-12.7 on the top end. This afr is fine..... Di ftw

A lean condition occurs when the amount of air and fuel is balanced so that there is more air than fuel in the mixture. This causes the mixture to burn hotter, extremely hot in some cases. This can result in the burning of pistons or rings.

Lean I hear creates more power thus making most tuners opt for it.
