ive checked them like 2 weeks ago and gap checked them. ive switched coils around and the miss is always on 3. thats why dealers getting it. this has all started once again since its got warm only happens on warm soak sits for 10-20 mins and starts bad. last year with trifecta tune it had misses like crazy on 3 so i took it off. and had GMS1 installed over winter. guessing it wasnt the tune. im haveing them check lash adjusters.

What a nightmare I had with the valvetrain. Lol. Luckily your problem could be as easy as popping in some rocker arms. Don't let the dealer do it tho, they'll charge u at least 500.

Haha.. Ya.. if they'll even look at it without a CEL on! As was my case. I even offered to pay them to take the damn cover off and look, and if I'm wrong, the bill's completely on me. Still wouldn't do it. Had to basically fry it, blow a map sensor, and then they'd look at it and fix it. A month later though, it re-occurred with just normal driving. I figure the springs just got too weak and couldn't hold anything anymore, so I upgraded to an entire new head as a result.

Good luck! Hope you have a good dealer and get it resolved without any major issues.

well this is still under powertrain. and the headgasket is bad not blown but leaking oil. they are replaceing that and are checking the lashes for free while doing this. also i get the chance to polish the valve cover when they tear it down.

this dealer is great they have no problems with looking at things for me. and i got a loaner a 12 Sonic LT turbo.

Yea. **** the dealer. I let them rape me 2x on **** that ended up being pretty easy DIY jobs. I'm doing my research and modding/ fixing as many issues as I can in my own garage. This is my 1st car, so I'm a real noob @ modding, but it's pretty fun, and the satisfaction you get from doing **** yourself is a plus.

id say its about as fast as a stock SC balt or the SS NA since ive never owned the SC. its a 6 speed autoStick. its doesnt feel like a small 4 banger. very roomy too. huge trunk. i had a hard time with the speedo being digital looks like a tach with a shift light that has other features.
