I had catless and MD, it sounded like a pissed off lawnmower. I quickly put the stock muffle back on. Mufflers do nothing for performance gains and the stock catback and muffler with catless DP is teh sex.

I have a catless DP and MD, and I actually like the sound it gives me. Once you get to about 3500 RPM's it gets loud, yes, but I love seeing the looks on people's faces when I pass them and let her growl a little at them

Well, the way I see it, when THAT guy with the balt just ate your EVO or STI alive without a sweat, a little noise couldn't hurt anyone! lol. But I agree, it's all in your personal taste on sound.

Yeah I have a MD + Catless DP and it is pretty loud, but sounds good in person kind of like a skittle, but it is nothing compared to JPizzles Dejon cutout lol that is loud

mandral exhaust system.com has 3 inch cat back with a couple different mufflers to choose from and about the cheapest around. i went with a strait through magnaflow that sounds good. by the way are you from okc area?

The only problem I really have with the Catless DP and muffler delete is that...on a cold start up...you will wake up everyone within a 4 block radius until it is done with its cat-warm-up mode.

I'm actually debating putting on the stock muffler again or going for an aftermarket muffler strictly for that reason.

^^ Yup, I've always stated that the car sounds like a single propeller airplane on start up.
