Suggestions..... what to do first?

Just picked up a 2010 SS a few weeks back, and I've been reading the forums since.

I just wanted to get your guys opinion on which modification I should go with first:

GMS1

ZZP 5th injector

Powell PVC oil separator

All of them are around the same price. I was going to go with the tune; however, after reading about the nasty carbon build up in DI motors, I was thinking about installing modifications which will slow down or eliminate this.

Any suggestion?

Thanks!

Well if your looking for power then your going to need a tune.. Our car has a learn down feature when not tuned so the car will stay at stock with whatever bolt on you throw at it after it "learns it". GMS1 is a tune with 3bar map sensors. The 5th injector is for when you need more fueling (shooting for 500+hp goals) To start off get a 3in downpipe (I'd go catless but depends on your emissions in your state) They say that is the most restricting part for your car. Then get a intake of your choice (K&N Short Ram Intake imo) Then get your self a tune. You will be more than happy... Trust me

you guys think the carbon build up isn't a serious issue with these cars? I know in the german cars, carbon build up seems to be worse.

As long as your car stays more stockish (meaning stock turbo) I wouldnt clean it out till like 80-100k miles

anyone know of a good shop around the northern VA area? I posted in the mid east forums, but no luck. I'm assuming most ppl read through the performance section.

it all depends on what you want to see for power. stock WHP is around 220-240. a few bolt ons and a real tune you could be over 300.

GMS1 is good for 280ish whp. bolt ons are ok with GMS1 but you get the most gains out of your bolt ons with a real tune (HP or trifecta tune)
