Motor Blown? Cobalt Squirts.... Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So i driving down the highway some might call it speeding, and all of a sudden car shuts down i didnt hear anything and immediately pulled over and popped my hood..... oil everywhere in engine bay dipstick popped... ummm my thought is piston #4 blew... ring land.. pressure built up due to blow by because #4 is last to get fuel and receives fuel unevenly.. I check my aeroceptor and only code that showed up was p1101 which i think is mass airflow performance sensor..i was figuring more codes to b thrown Im not sure what happened....
I didn't really due much research on the site about this problem, common? I am running out of time so i made a thread. What Can i Due about this, warranty wont b covered, Rebuild? Suggestions.....

- Guidance, pointing and laughing, burning, and any other information would greatly b appreciated!
I have to have surgery and goin to b out of work for awhile got no car and no money due to the fact of having surgery... *** me

Compression test it.

Check your oil dipstick for a frothy substance (coolant)

Also, did your car sound like a WRX (flat four)?

If you can, try a compression test.

Okay, if it won't start again, that does concern me that you might have a problem. P1101 is Intake Air Flow System Performance. I don't really know where to point at with that other then the MAF like you already said. Try this. Clear the code, remove the induction and MAF and make sure everything is clean. Clean to oil out of your engine bay and replace what was lost. Then try to start it. If that doesn't work, come tell us and I'll tell you what to do next.

Good advice, start there.

Wait, the manifold gasket and the piston ring? That's like, 2 completely unrelated things. Anyway, I guess it's irrelevant now. If your tech has confirmed that you blew a piston ring, then yup, engine need a rebuild. Are you warrantied?

You can't know until you open the engine up and inspect it. Depending the damage done, you might have to replace the whole engine. That's not likely, but it's possible. Are you planning on having the GM dealer do the work?

You might want to take your car into another shop to make sure what is wrong because i know friends that work in dealers that purposfully milk people for money by saying that some **** is wrong. Example woman brought in her car said she could barely move it (e-brake was on) well they charged her for like 8 hours of labor. Of course not neccesarily true with your dealer but i am raising suspicion as two things that are really not connected blew.

I assume you never did this before and would suggest getting a friend or someone with experience to help you take apart teh engine inspect what needs replacing. Chances are the piston is damaged and the sleeve might need work. Of course pics could be of great help.
