I think my total came out to around 850 shipped for the DP and CB... I personally am very happy with my purchases considering this whole set-up retails for around 1050 not including shipping.

Pimplay, what are you trying to build the same exact car as me? Please don't tell me your ordering the charge piping too? In about a week ill be ordering that and whenever an intake comes out ill be getting that too. Along with HP tuners whenever the **** that will come out.

pretty much.. and people are bitching that the charge piping is too expensive.. people spend 600-1k on **** in an ss/sc bolt ons wise to get 15 hp ( intake, header and dp) and people are bitching because they think charge piping is a " bling mod" and don't know wtf they're talking about lol..

Im going to wait and do it all at once. When the CB gets here im going to send both CB and DP to swaintech to get coated, then wrap the manifold, dp, and catback to the muffler. (Swaintech coating will only go to the muffler also) Then once that gets back I'm gonna get before and after video and pics and a how-to with pics of the install. Also gonna try and get a video of a flame if they shoot.

You guys think with an intake, exhaust, and DP you will still be able to hear the spool?

I said that thank you.

I am not a super genius but I am not stupid.

Why replace something that really isn't holding the car back?

Right now it is a bling mod, but there is some room to be gained from the top end...ECM limits TQ...but if you free **** up HP can be gained.

And correct me if I am wrong....TBE would be from the DP back wouldn't it?

Stock I can hear the spool inside and outside the car. I was driving to work tonight and my Brother and his friend were riding next to me and they could hear it. I was just wondering because I wanna do exhaust now, and then get the intake later. But I dont wanna get the exhaust and then not be able to hear the spool. Its not that big of a deal, but I do like to hear that lovely sound.

Overall our cars will be relatively quiet without a cat and a decent cat back like Hahn's.

The turbo muffles a lot of sound naturally...look at how tiny the stock muffler is

You will always be able to hear the turbo, and throw a K&N drop in should help out

Keep in mind the stock exhaust is not that restrictive. It is mandrel bent and has a straight through muffler design. The body of the muffler is large and has lots of packing to absorb sound and make the car quiet. That combined with the resonator and two cats make it really quiet. With our downpipe there is more sound but its not annoying or excessive.
