I'm pretty sure both #'s are wheel #'s.

huh?

horsepower is horsepower and torque is torque

Both are measured from the same place, torque is the measure of a moment and horsepower is a measure of energy rate. They are related by the equation:

HP = TQ * RPM / 5252

Just look at the bottom of the graph, the light blue/teal color it says torque flywheel.

And no whp and flywheel hp is different, same with torque. You will get two different numbers. It's really not complicated at all. You're just messing it up.

You orginally said: "HP is whp? And tq is flywheel?"

Which from my interpretation would imply you are thinking they are measuring HP at the wheels and torque at the flywheel. Since I have never seen a dyno in the world that can measure at the wheels and at the flywheel at the same time I was inclined to think you didn't quite understand what you were asking. I am fully aware that power measured at the flywheel will be different then the power at the wheels, however, you measure it at one place at a time and have to use a different dyno to measure from different places.

They have a dynapack dyno, which measures w/ the wheels off w/ the wheel hubs bolted to the dyno. Thus, they are measuring whhp and whtq in the graph they showed.

the software says flywheel, but dont let that fool you. the numbers are considered to be at the wheels. the tricky new zealanders put the word flywheel in there.

steddy it still says 2.22 but it is in fact an update. dl it and install it you should be able to start working on the new ss/tc with it.

Im pretty sure that even though it says flywheel HP it really means WHP. Notice he says WHP even. Unless they know exactly how much parasitic loss is between flywheel and wheels, how could you know how much flywheel HP the car makes without an engine dyno?

not to mention the car already gets 260 hp at the engine.. so that would be pretty weak if it only gained 15 engine HP from dp , charge pipe and tune

This isn't a competition people. The SS/SC kicks ass and so does the SS/TC. Leave it at that and let's get more info about the tune here. Leave the hp and trq definitions talk outta this because if you don't know what they are, you should be using google or the search button.

Please carry on with the subject at hand. Synapse, is this the final tune at its best potential or are you still tweaking it? Thank you for taking on this project. We all appreciate it.

The DI runs lean compared to what we are all used too anyways so them telling you will only make half the ******* site kill themselves.

I was just wondering, I had never saw a dyno messure wheel hp and flywheel torque on the same run. So I was just wondering.

And I am in no way trying to insult the SS/TC or say the numbers are bogus. I like the new SS/TC a lot!
