Only PRE-MAF parts require tuning?!! ok ... if you say so ... your the "tuner".
WOW, you are really pretty dense. Anyway to the OP... tune it first you'll be at or above 300whp right there alone!

Who had a LNF downpipe crack? I believe you are mistaken in saying that.

I've had the ZZP downpipe for 5000 miles now no signs of wear! LOL I think he may be thinking about the issues you guys had with the LSJ downpipes but I had that too without a problem!

Im running a ZZP catless as well, almost 10K on it now. I actually looked it over the last time I changed the oil and it still looked great

+1 on the tune. Really livens the car up nicely!!

well for short....

the maf sensor on this car is very very paticular.... it skews the maf sensor soo bad that it can cause the car to run over 20% too rich over commanded AFR!

I myself ran into the problem.. I made a custom SRI... tuned it... and it was still 20% off. It's just not worth it... the only one that wasn't "tooo bad" was the AEM but it caused other issues like compressor surging at cold starts.

So just keep the stock box, do the airbox mod, drop in a K&N filter and bide your time untill one that works is released or we gain more control over the ECU.

so your saying that tune is not worth the money?? id like to get the GM one but i havent herd nothing on it lately but its not like i have ben looking real hard for it either. i just like the idea of being able to reflash to stock when i have to take it it to the dealer. the goal for now is 300 or a little better and ill just increase it as time goes on it untill its too expensive but there are very few FWD cars in my area that can put down numbers like these cars car

Lemme ask you this, if a customer came in with an Full turboback exaust and headers, but with the stock box, would he make any more power than the guy that just has a tune? Why?

This doesnt hack up the actual box at all, you modify the snorkel portion. You can also just remove the snorkel portion and get similar results. You will prolly see just a slightly higher rise in IAT when sitting in traffic.

The turboback, LOL we don't have headers we have a turbo manifold, and stock box you mean stock ECU?

Yes what this car does on a learn down is adjust boost, or throttle position to keep the car at the 260 limited number.

Custom tuning eliminates the learn down feature, allowing us to raise the boost, adjust fuel, timing, yadda yadda... to take full advantage of the power GM gave us.

Now if your trying to say a stock parts TUNED LNF vs. a bolt on TUNED LNF then no the bolt on car will make more power... but it's not changing PRE MAF flow numbers, which is what this car gets pissed about more than anything, followed secondly by atmospheric bovs.

I just did the 3" coupler to move the position of the snorkle... didn't hack up my box at all!

This is all I have been saying the whole time , regardless of how you keep insisting to pick a fight with me.

IF the OP is going to buy parts and get a tune, I suggested that he buy the parts first, Then get the tune to get the power levels he desires.

I'm sorry you make... 23whp more and 39 wtq less than me! SO your better than you were, but still far from the potential your car should make.

And I'm a loser... I don't think so I just call things how I see them...
