I have been out of the cobalt loop for sometime now. Have a few questions:

305 fwhp and 349 fwtq @ how many RPMS?
On what dyno were these numbers put down?
How much boost was run?
Mods were the following?
Synapse IC, IC piping, 3" DP, 3" Exhaust, CAI, and a tune?
What is the AFR in full throttle/boost?
I know I threw a lot of questions at you
What kind of air temps/intake temps did you see?

Aces intake in the pics sounds better than yours.. (08blackSS).... Your set up is nice but souonds to much like my K&N drop-in.. And, FYI: better get IC piping upgrade... Your missing about 7-10 whp with out it...

Several companies have said theat on a stock tc... the piping (for the IC) alone will add 2-4 whp and with more mods, like FF-ACE, 7-10whp more..... Intercooler upgrades alone are worth about 8-12 whp and the piping adds another 7-10 to that provided you've other supporting mods like a tune and exhaust, DP and such.....

I was at FF_aces tune, even I had my car tuned as well after him....293 whp\341 wtq peak boost of 24.5 and average boost 22 lbs.. before my IC upgrade IAT was at 80* on first run then climbed to 160* on the second and third runs...timing was going nuts to keep up Then the IC upgrade.. and IAT on first run was 83* the second and third runs were 84*-85* timimg hardly moved!!! this is good stuff.. But I'm told that without the charge piping I'm missing about 10-12 whp and 88-10 wtq....

I have no CAI or chrage pipes... That's my 10-15 whp difference to FF's car.. we're close in tq though..

FF_ace having the filter in the wheel well, the area stays really much cooler than a short intake that's still under the hood.

His custom intake sounds friggin SICK!!!!

this is pissen me off, everyone has really nice CAI's that they either fabbed up themselves or made and i have that cheap ass spectre set-up and no matter what i do i always throw a code cus im running lean and i dont know how to fix it, i ordered my hahn piping and i have a exhaust coming also which should give me more gains but i really wish i knew how to fix this CEL issue without having to reset the MAF all the time (every 3 or 4 days) oh yea and FYI dont take your gf to a car shop with you to see your buddies and talk about fabbin stuff up she will get pissed after being there for 3 hours

is anyone planning to sell any of these intakes!?!?!?! im very very interested in buying one.

You need to work with the maf correction table to fix your problem. Buy HPT, readup on the HPT forum and you'll find it's not much of a big deal to fix.

Simple histogram and some datalogging.

i wish i could join...every week I get a CEL for system rich bank 1 at idle...and the only way to fix is to adjust the MAF tables in my tune..my SRI is this the Spectre adapter with an AEM dry flow just like other threads suggested so mines not from improper MAF location bc it is in the stock location just with much more air coming in right there at the MAF....I wish someone w/ HP Tuners would email me their tune so I could adjust my MAF tables

i would have fabbed and sold a bunch of the intakes but i dont have the tubing source anymore and i would still need to have the maf plates cnc'd and welded in. i have the cnc connection just no tubing.
i had a supra that got totaled at the track, sad day hopped off the line and landed crooked and right into the wall 8(, used the intercooler kit tubing to make a intake and i only had enough for an extra one and its gone. i would wait for aem and injen though they are very close to release.

my baby~R.I.P.
