Is a thermostat on LNF necessary?

Is a thermostat on LNF necessary?

Does the lnf NEED a lower thermostat? Will this benefit the car in anyway? I know that it will eventually kill the water pump and all but really that doesn't affect me as much as a cool engine will. Does this affect the turbos temp or performance?

Nope hotter EGTs (to a point) are better for max power and efficiency.
