Apparently you aren't reading the comments from start to finish...

I said he never stated he was tuned for the 29 till later in the comments so therefore I brought it up.

Lsj tuning... Hmmmm when have we talked about tuning ? The fact that ltft can run through wot but once pe is hit all the factoring cells arent saved.

hmm interesting.

whats even funnier is that when i was tuning his car, thats what i did. started low and went high, then back down to check trims.

keep arguing lsj tuning with me. that will amuse me.

If you search enough, you'll find an LSJ Trans with an LSD in it. I managed to. Mine came from an 07 IRL.

I get worse gas mileage since cruising RPMs are higher.

Installing an LSD into your Trans may cost you more than buying one with it already in there. Powell has posted on the forum what's involved. You may have to search from his old screen name though. I think it's qwikredline or something like that.

So let me get this straight. From what I read I'm going to blow my trans because Im running a bnr 2871? My car isn't tuned yet and I dd the car. So what now? The moment I get tuned I can't have a couple hard drive without thinking my trans is going to blow?

dont let it scare you. lol. as long as you drive responsibly, you should be ok for a while (dont try to speed shift or NLS). also, for some unknown reason, some peoples transmissions seem to hold up better than others. its kind of a gamble i suppose. if you drive smart and dont rip it all the time, your stock trans should last you a while, but now forever.

dont let it deter you from getting more power, just save up some $ on the side in case it happens and when it does deal with it then.

Your first issue is not being tuned but once tuned, you'll be playing Russian Roulette with the Trans everytime you do a pull. It's just the game we play. Quite frankly, I'm glad the Trans is the weak point and not the crank or connecting rods. Trans is easy to replace in respect to other possible weaknesses.

this. takes 6 hours to swap out (once you get used to doing it. lol) vs an engine rebuild.

Yeah I know not being tuned for my bnr is a problem but like I said I dd the car do it never sees above 3k or 5psi. How come these guys running e85 aren't having trans issues?

LSD I don't think has anything to do with it. My stock Trans was LSD.

I'm sure some stock guys have had Trans issues but the power band of the stock turbo is nothing like aftermarket turbos. Longer sustained torque really adds to the problem I suspect.
