Throttle acting wierd

Ok so lately I have been noticing my throttle acting wierd in first gear.

When give it gas the let of, then give it gas again, it takes like 2 or 3 seconds for it to pic back up.....

Just wondering if anyone has had this issue, and wondering if it could be related to the fluttering issue I'm having.

if u play with the throttle letting go of the gas and then pushing it again quickly, yes it will flutter.

Yeah but when I'm in first gear, if I'm driving in first, then let off the gas, the push it again, nothing happens. There's like a 3-5 second delay before it picks up..... Maybe there is an issue with my throttle body.

I'll try doing this when I get off work to see if mine does the same thing.

I wish they would bring back throttle cables as opposed to this drive-by-wire ****.

Me too. It takes 1 second for the ECM to open the throttle all the way after flooring the pedal. Either that or more simply HP Tuners needs to give me the tables I need to get rid of the ETC delay.

Honestly I think I think GM has one of the best drive by wire...

Honda is horrible... BMW is SUPER horrible

I just fail to see the point of drive by wire. I mean with a steel throttle cable even if the cable does snap (which will probably never happen) the throttle plate closes and bingo no Toyota Prius problems.
