How did you determine your TPS went out? I haven't personally been up and close with the LNF but I would think the throttle body replacement is similar on all of them. Should just need to remove the intake bits that are in the way and the throttle body comes unbolted from the intake manifold with 4 bolts.

1. Disconnect battery
2. On the side of the TB is the electrical plug, undo the tab then squeeze and remove the plug. Typical for many plugs on the Cobalt. It works like the MAF on the intake if you need practice.
3. using a screw driver loosen the hose clamp on the charge pipe connected to the TB.
4. Remove charge pipe. This can suck and sometimes have to use a screwdriver to pry it off.
5. Raise the front of the car to be able to get under it.
6. Gather a ratchet and several extension and the proper socket and undo the 4 bolts on the throttle body. I think it's 4 15 mm bolts but not sure on size
7. Remove TB.
8. Reverse steps.
