Throttle body/tps/apps problem. HELP
Posted this over in LSJ as well...
So guys here's the rundown quick. Did my auto swap went to fire the car up and had about every tps code known to mankind. As well as cam sensor codes which I know I have timed properly. Probably needs a case relearn, but I need the car to be running out of engine power reduced to do it. Anyhow here's where it stands
So I just replaced my throttle body because they go bad we all know that. I'm still getting a p2122. TPS low voltage input. This means the throttle body tps/app sensor saw less than .31 volts or something like that for more than 1 second. The sensors all get power from the ecu so either something is wrong there, both sets of pedals I have are bad (because thats where the app sensors lie), or the wiring in between is somehow eff'd.
I can't see both my pedal assembly's being bad especially when I know it worked perfect before the swap. I also don't really see a problem with the ecu powering the sensors. That just seems unlikely. And I've looked the harness over time and time again. I am tied into a data wire at the pedal wires for my trans controller, but that isn't a power wire so it shouldn't have anything to do with that specific code.
And i'm STILL getting cam sensor codes. So annoying when I know it's timed properly
The car would start and run in EPR before I switched throttle body's now with the brand new one it won't even fire. Weird thing is that all of the tps codes disappeared minus p2122 and the throttle body responds perfectly in correlation with pedal movement where as with the old one it wouldn't and it would also throw p1516 and a couple others.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated as I'm well. Just about stumped on this one!

Well I figured out the cam sensor problem but it's still throwing the p2122 that keeps me in limp mode. I'm beginning to think my ecu isn't giving the correct output voltage. All the pins look great and I put dialectric grease in the connectors just to make sure with no avail.
The problem is intermittent. I had the car running yesterday for a good half hour and 20 minutes into it is when it started kicking me into limp mode. It would be idling then start running really rough all of a sudden for about 10-15 seconds then clear up on it's own. Then do it all over again
It's almost as if the voltage to the sensor circuit D is on the edge of throwing the p2122 (.31 volts) or whatever it is. Sometimes it passes sometimes it doesn't. And another thing I noticed is if It's idling without the code and i keep revving the car some it doesn't kick p2122. Only when the car idles for some time does it throw it. Or on initial startup

I had a problem with the TPS sensor in my car and the dealer replaced it under warranty a while back. Car would go into limp mode and wouldn't rev past 3k rpm. Although it did sound pretty good but it was un-drivable. Now I have an intermittent P0011 problem.
